Sipping And Drinking Chocolate

The taste of sipping the hot chocolate is mainly because of the bubbles on top. These are the words of the former documentary film maker Mathieu McFadden, the French-Canadian, who also runs a kitchen at ChocoSol Traders, a Toronto-based chocolatier. It’s the cacao butter, risen to the top by mixing and aerating, that carries the fat and the flavour of the chocolate.

Below is one of the way to make a hot chocolate drink. The ingredients required are
1 cup dark ground cocoa powder
1 cup sweet ground cocoa powder
1 cup grated or chopped good quality dark chocolate
1 Tablespoon vanilla powder or vanilla sugar
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar

Mix all the ingredients together and store in air tight jar. Using the high grade organic and cocoa and chocolate is best to get heavenly taste of the thick hot chocolate drink you desire

Take 2 cups of milk and heat it along with whisking constantly. Add ¼ cup of cocoa mix or few tablespoons of chocolate, stir this milk until you get the desired color and consistency. You can also add bit of cinnamon, nutmeg or ginger to this to increase the taste.

To sip the chocolate to eat with a spoon use a mixture of heavy cream and milk, half a cup, add chocolate till the consistency of the mix is thick. Serve in demitasse cups with a spoon.
