About 1 million pounds of pistachio are being recalled by a company as there may be a danger of salmonella outburst. There are investigations which are been conducted about the contamination and the food safety officials are investigating Setton Farms’ plant.
This recall was commenced on Friday by the Georgia Nut Company. This pistachio recall was to get the Kraft Back to Nature Nantucket Blend, after tests gave positive to salmonella.
Though there are no illness reported the recall is effective because the test gave positive results. FDA reports say that pistachio recall has nothing to do with the peanut butter recall that happened recently, although both were related to salmonella. The best thing to do now is avoid eating pistachios for now until the FDA knows what products are affected.

Langoustine - Norway lobster
Langoustine is found in off coast of Norway and was called as the Norway lobster as they are from the lobster family and are also interrelated to Dublin Bay prawns and scampi. Now a day they are found even in the Atlantic coast, Scotland, and the western Mediterranean, Adriatic. They are very rare, but are a delicacy than ever before.
This langoustine does not modify their color when cooked. They have pink, narrow smooth-shelled bodies, with long claws and do not have much meat. The tail and the meat in the claws can be eaten but the shell, head and thorax can't be eaten. They are found all over the year but they go off quickly, hence the langoustine will be cooked and frozen at sea, making it hard to find live ones.
If you are buying a langoustine is sure that they are still moving. Buy a large langoustine as they have more meat. Avoid those whose tails have started to turn black - they're dead. As a rule of thumb, the colder the waters in which the langoustines were fished, the better their flavor, this is why Scottish langoustine is particularly prized.

Chilean Sea Bass
There are many kind of fishes found in the world and they are difficult to prepare as they get cooked easily and the risk you run of drying it out too much. Most of us would have known about the fish dish called the Chilean sea bass. This is a very simple and easy to make dish. This dish when served with the black bean garlic sauce tastes fantastic.
A jar of Black bean garlic sauce which has all good stuff in it is available in the market. Chilean Sea Bass in Black Bean Garlic Sauce needs the following ingredients:
1 lb sea bass steak (I had a little over a lb)
1-2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 inch piece of ginger
1 Tbsp. black bean garlic sauce
1 tsp. soy sauce
You have to cut up the fish into chunks about 1-2 inches in size. Peel and cut the ginger into matchstick pieces. Then heat a wok with oil. Add the fish and ginger. Sauté for about 2 minutes. Add the garlic sauce and soy sauce and mix well. This has to be cooked for about 3-5 minutes continuing to toss. The fish is cooked when the center of the biggest piece becomes thick.

A healthy food advocate Alice Waters from California gave her appearance this evening on 60 minutes and spoke about her ideas about healthy health food. According to her, we have to eat fresh and slow to maintain our health.
She gave very good reviews about her ideas and she says "Good food is a right, not a privilege." After her thoughts there are many who want to follow the slow food idea. Some of them have already taken her points and have kept aside the microwave to experience the food without it.
Alice Waters have started the organic revolution and promotes for better food that helps to have better health for the American people. She suggests having a veggie garden in the White House.
Alice Waters had a restaurant called Chez Panisse in 1971. The restaurant was located downstairs and is open for dinner Monday through Saturday if you get a reservation. Waters is the author of many popular recipes and cookbooks amongst those who like good food.
